Day Hike - Pratt Lake Trail
Tuesdays with Court continues - but on a Friday (teaching this week). May add Olallie Lake on the way back with winter route depending on trip reports and conditions. Early lake wading, anyone?

Early start to enjoy birdsong and avoid traffic snarls. Only high winds will cancel. Join me for a celebration to a very busy spring kick-off. Hopefully we'll see some snow.
"EXPLORATORY" - I'm not wedded to destination as I'm registering this a month ahead and who knows what weather will do to the mountains between now and then. Capping at 6 hikers so we can move at a pretty good clip.
However, leader is an avid birder and photographer who likes to pause occasionally for photos and birdsong. We'll try to keep a 2.4-2.5 mph pace on this wonderfully graded trail, my personal favorite. Fewer breaks if it's cold. This is NOT a good "first-of-the-season hike" so please reconsider.
I WILL be checking in on experience for anyone who hasn't done a "Tuesdays with Court" activity yet in 2026. We may add Olallie Lake if conditions merit and folks are up for it.
Tuesdays with Court continues this week on a Friday (I'll be teaching this week). Meet at Exit 47 at 6:15 a.m. ready for stretching/introductions so we can be walking by 6:30. (Dawn is 6 a.m.) Carpooling details will be forthcoming in Hello Hiker.
