Day Hike - Neiderprum Trail

8:30 booted and ready to hike @ Moose Ck Bridge on road 2030, road is closed at this location adding  approx 1.25 mile walk to Niederprum trailhead.

First mile is wide and smooth, second so-so, steep. Remainder, less of a trail, more of a boot beaten path following the fall line. Logs, mountain ash, huckleberry, salmonberry and devils club to a tilted brushy meadow at 3800', bushwacking expected.

Hwy 530 east, 24 miles from Arlington. Turn right on Mine Road, @ 0.5 mi. keep left, @ 0.7 mi. go left on Forest Road 2030, @ 2 mi. trailhead, signed Neiderprum Trail # 653.
