The objectives for the hike are:
- Have fun and enjoy each other's company.
- Make for the objective, conditions permitting.
- Return to the trailhead safe and sound.
On this trip we expect to move continuously as a group at a moderately steady pace with at least one 5 minute rest break every hour until we reach our objective. We will return to the forest cover to have a 15-20 minute rest break for a snack, before returning to the trailhead.
We will meet here. The plan is to meet at the trailhead sign at 7:00 AM SHARP (Geared up and Ready to Go) on Sunday March the 2nd for a quick hike meet-n-greet and be on the trail by 7:15 AM.
IMPORTANT ALTERNATIVE: Should the Mt. Teneriffe parking lot NOT open by 7 AM, we will meet at the Mt. Si main trailhead by the route sign near the vault toilets. From there, we'll catch the Talus Loop over to the Mt. Teneriffe Trail and resume our plan.
