To organize carpools, go to Roster below and email roster to ask others to carpool with you.

Mt. Erie and its little brother hill Sugarloaf are actually part of a much larger network of many, many trails that also visit Heart Lake and Whistle Lake. There are many different trails to hike on. The hike will be about 8-10 miles with 1500-2000 feet of gain and we will hike up Sugarloaf and Mt. Erie for dramatic views of the Salish Sea. We will hike around Whistle Lake before the return journey to the TH.

I will meet the group at the trailhead since I will already be up there in the area.

I encourage people to join me afterwards for lunch at Skagit River Brewery! It is on the way back to the freeway.

Here is the trail map of all the various trails we can hike on for you to print out: https://www.anacorteswa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/4641
