Plan is to take advantage of the dry weather  and lack of snow to hike the lower part of the Mt. Ellinor trail. We will start from the Big Creek campground and hike from there. Likely turn around spot will be the junction with the trail from the upper trailhead.  We will not be attempting the summit as the upper section travels on steep slopes with lots of rocks. Most of our trip will be in the forest.

Big Creek campground at 0800.
