Day Hike - McLane Creek Nature Trail
It is newt hunting time at McLane Nature Trail! On this family hike we will look for the fire-bellied newts that come out to breed in March! We will also see what other wildlife is waking up at this time of year, including wood ducks and other birds.

Although this is a short hike on level ground, we will be making lots of stops to look for animals and even play with the newts if possible, so plan on 2-3 hours. Trail treats and a stop will be provided.
Meet at 10 am at the Mclane Nature Trail lower parking lot. A Discover pass is required. We will convene in the covered area adjacent to the parking lot.
