- Your Mountaineers activities in the last 2 months must show similar distance, elevation gain and pace. Without these, you will be moved off the roster. This is for the safety of the group. Hours of daylight are short, we will need to move along the trails confidently and safely in order to be back to our vehicles with a comfortable margin before losing daylight.
- There are some steep, slippery sections of trail due to mud, leaves and, possibly, frost/snow. The little-used trail to the Southeast peak will likely be muddy, brushy and wet. REQUIRED: bring microspikes & hiking poles
- Hike will be canceled or rescheduled if there are hazardous trail, weather or road conditions, or heavy rainfall/snowfall.
