Day Hike - Indian Bar, Panhandle Gap & Summerland

If you have been on some of my hikes, just ask for permission and answer the first and the last questions.

If I don't know you well, in your request for leader permission please include the following:

Are you 100% committed to attending this hike. Key exchanges require planning and coordination, a last minute cancel can cause tremendous difficulty. 

There probably will be snow at Panhandle Gap. Will you commit to bring spikes? Are you comfortable on snow where there is a little danger involved (the run-out isn't great). There is a going down and around and up, over rocks, option, the rock is loose and it will require using your hands some. Are you 100% confident that you will be able to get through here by one of these options?  If you don't have climbing, scrambling, advanced snowshoeing or other certifications, please provide an example of a similar crossing you have made.  

This is a very strenuous hike, please let me know about recent hikes you have done that approach or exceed the stats on this hike. 

Are you willing to drive and let someone else drive your car to your endpoint? If yes, how many can you fit in your car and is it manual or automatic? Do you prefer going north (5400') or south (4600'). We will try to give you your preferred direction, but can't guarantee this.
