Updated 5/1/19: Be aware of the hike location, approx 3.5 hours from Seattle.
Leisurely to moderate pace, with short to extended stops to view or photograph flowers and other plants, birds, geology and scenery.

Recommend accommodations nearby at Beacon Rock State Park, or motel in Stevenson/Carson area (near Columbia Gorge).

Confirm your meeting place/time with leader - either 8:30am at trailhead, or 7:30am in nearby Cascade Locks (OR) or Carson (WA).
Directions, via WA-14 and I-84. From I-84 east of Portland, take exit 44 to Cascade Locks, then cross Bridge of the Gods to WA-14 east. Travel east of WA-14, exiting north to Carson on Hwy 30 for 4.2 mi, then R on Bear Cr Rd 6808 for 3.6 mi paved and 7.2 mi gravel to Triangle Pass, then turn L on Rd 68 for 2.1 mi, and turn R on Rd 511 for 50 ft.
Need medium to higher clearance vehicle for rougher forest road surface in last 2 miles. Local carpooling available from Cascade Locks, OR or Carson, WA.
