Day Hike - Granite Lakes via Granite Creek

Join me for a mid-week morning conditioning hike along the Granite Creek trail to beautiful Upper Granite Lake. We'll go at a steady pace with minimal breaks along the way, somewhere around 2.25 mph pace on our way to the lake and closer to 2.5 mph on our way back.

9 am at the Granite Lakes Trailhead. Will begin hiking at 9:15 am.

It's a steady gradual uphill to Upper Granite Lake with a few easy water crossings (waterproof boots advised as there may be unavoidable wet areas on creek crossings and near the lake). I'd like to keep a steady ~2.25-2.5 mi/hr pace with minimal rest/water breaks. We'll take a little time at the lake for a lunch break before heading back.
