Day three of 3 days in the North Cascades - each is a 5-Star, top 100 WA Classic Hike! Join us for one, two, or all three. Let's enjoy these trails while the air is clear. Our pace will be moderate ~2.25 mph (average moving pace). All three of these hikes feature fantastic ridge views. We will take time to savor these and enjoy an extended lunch break at these world-class locations.
Day 1- Park Butte: (a lookout peak badge hike)
and a WA Classics Badge Hike
Day 2 - 17th Thursday - Cascade Pass & Sahale Arm 12 miles, 4,000 ft.
Day 3 - 18th Friday -Cutthroat Pass and Lake 11 miles 2,300 ft.
We'll be monitoring the snowmelt and the weather (clear conditions are essential to enjoy the views) - the (day one) hike may need to be switched to an alternative. The other two are clear of snow.
Consider staying in the area - arrangements are on your own. Leaders will be staying near Marblemount at Cascade Wagon Road Campground.

- Cascade Wagon Road Campground (gets good reviews) 21 sites, first-come, first-served only, dry (no potable water, no reservations)
- Skagit River RV & Camping- campers, tents, rooms. Good reviews - showers, many open tent sites now.
- Newhalem Creek Campground (reservations available 7 days in advance)
