Come and check out the newly renovated trails and Pierce County improvements in Bresemann Forest and enjoy lakeside views of Spanaway Lake with our weighted packs. Priority to Tacoma Branch Intro to Backpacking students until April 16th, then open to everyone.

This trip is geared toward Intro to Backpacking students learning to carry a weighted pack to get ready for backpacking season. We will be hiking several of the newly renovated trails in Bresemann Forest then over to Spanaway Park for a forested loop in the park, and finish the trip off with another loop beside Spanaway Lake. Bring a sack dinner.

Bresemann Forest Entrance on west end of Sprinker Recreation Center Parking Lot at 4pm. No parking pass required.
