This hike climbs up and over a few creeks in this Big Creek Watershed through beautiful forest (all on bridges); hopefully we'll see some spring wildflowers along the way.  We will extend our day by hiking another mile and 800 to 900 feet of elevation gain beyond the typical Big Creek Loop.  The pace will vary with the terrain, and rest stops or gear adjustments will be frequent on the way up.  Practicing the rest step on parts of this hike will be encouraged.  Bring the Ten Essentials, dress for the weather in layers, and bring plenty of water and snacks.  We will stop for a more extended lunch break of about twenty minutes at the overlook.  National Parks Pass or Northwest Forest Pass required.

Specifics will be sent to registered participants three days prior to the hike.
