Day Hike - Alpine Lookout/Round Mountain

We will meet at the trail head  , 8:00 am . I scouted the road to the trail head , and it is not drivable with low clearance automobiles . If you have a sedan automobile, then you need to carpool. Drive East on Hwy 2 , over Stevens Pass , to a left turn on Forest Road 6910 , one-quarter mile past the Nason  Creek Rest Area . This road is unsigned , and you will need to look for a row of mailboxes . There is a sign (small) identifying the road , just past the mail boxes . Drive FS road 6910 4.5 miles , then turn right , and in .3 mile the trail head is reached . There are signs in the parking area requiring the  National Forest Recreation Pass .
