The White Pass Nordic center has two heated yurts, one for snacks/gear and one for rentals as well as two heated restrooms with running water. The fee for using ski trails is adults $28, kids $16 and for snowshoeing adults $22 and kids $16. Please click on "Required Equipment" to see rental options/costs at the Nordic Center.

A small practice loop behind the yurts has a little hill where xc skiers can practice their   snowplow, duck walk, and easy turns before heading out on the groomed trail. Snowshoers can use the side of the groomed ski trail or head out into the woods near the groomed trails.   The groomed trail does have some shallow hills that can be challenging to beginning skiers if the snow is fast and icy ---so snowshoe is held as an option for such conditions.

Priority will be given to families with the Feb 15th overnight at the Three Volcanoes Cabin.

Please plan to bring your lunch with you as we will eat lunch pm the trail.

Drivers will need to be prepared for winter driving with AWD and/or chains.

For those leaving Olympia, meet at Martin Way Park and Ride in Lacey, WA to carpool to leave at 8:30 am. Meet the rest of the group at the White Pass Nordic Center at the rental yurt at 11 am. Return to Olympia will be leaving White Pass at 3 pm, returning to Olympia around 5:30 pm.

For those staying overnight at the Mountaineers Family Weekend at the Three Volcanoes Cabin near Randle,WA, they will leave the cabin at 10 am to met the rest of the group at the White Pass Nordic Center at the rental yurt at 11 am.  The group will be leaving White Pass at 3 pm.

The trip will be cancelled no later than 24 hours before the trip if rain, or a Winter Storm Warning, or poor road conditions are forecast on the route to White Pass.
