We finally have some good snow! This is an opportunity to get some smoothness back into our xc ski skills, so this will not be at a hurried pace. We will make a few stops along the way. Any fast skiers will be expected to remain with the group.

We will ski for about 3 hours total along  Lake Keechelus, so we may or may not ski the entire length of the lake. It will depend on the group as a whole.

"Classic" skis should be less than 70mm  in width for the  ski tracks. (55mm to 65mm skis are ideal.). No skate skis please.

Please test your gear before leaving home to ensure that it is in proper working order.

An assistant leader spot is open to existing cross-country ski leaders and/or those who are not yet xc ski leaders but are interesting in helping out. Duties will be minimal. If interested, Karen can add you. Note: This is a great way to get some volunteer hours!

Carpooling: Carpooling is encouraged, but no-one should feel obligated to do so.  The primary leader will not be organizing carpooling, so it will be up to the participants to do so if interested. Rides are not guaranteed.

Hyak Sno-Park @ 10am ready-to-go.   Heated restrooms at trailhead. Parking Pass: Sno-Park Season Pass w/ Groomed Sticker or Day Pass required for each vehicle.
