In the heart of Olympic National Park is Hurricane Ridge with a summit elevation of 5,240 feet. Hurricane Ridge offers spectacular winter recreation and activities and features winter vistas.

Meet at Olympic National Park Visitor Center; 3002 Mt Angeles Rd, Port Angeles, WA 98362 at 9:00 AM.

National Park Pass is required to enter and park at the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center.

Hurricane Ridge Road is typically open to uphill traffic from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through Sunday and some holidays when weather and road conditions permitting.  Winter storms can close or delay opening of Hurricane Ridge Road; high winds and blizzard conditions are not uncommon. All vehicles, including 4-wheel-drive vehicles, are required to carry tire chains.

Ski trails at Hurricane ridge are ungroomed. Here is the link to  map and information on cross country ski routes
