Basic Alpine Climb - Mount Adams/South Spur
This is not a technically challenging climb, but it takes climbers 6 to 8 hours to ascend the 6,600 vertical feet across snow and rock to reach the 12,276 summit of Mt. Adams.

Climbing group will meet at the Mt. Adams Ranger Station to procure climbing permit at 2:00 pm, Friday July 10. Overnight camping at either Morrison Creek campground or Cold Springs campground depending on availability.
Preference given to Tacoma basic climbing course students.
