Backpack - Olympic Hot Springs

A one night, 21 mile backpacking trip (10.5 miles per day) along the abandoned Olympic Hot Springs Road to Boulder Creek campsite, and an evening soak in the Olympic Hot Springs. We will make a stop at the historic site of the former Upper Elwha Dam. Come along if you like history, hot springs, and walking side by side instead of nose to tail.

  • High Point Elevation: 2,200 ft
  • Pace: 2 mph

9am in Port Angeles, exact meeting location will be shared with the group via email. Please arrange carpools as you are able to get there.

This trip is for anyone who can walk 10 miles carrying a pack. We will be going at a chill pace and taking rests as needed. This trail is not very difficult. I do encourage you to try something new, go light, and also bring enjoyable creature comforts as we will be hanging out in the hot spring pools.  We will be sticking together, so don't worry about getting left behind.
