Meet at the Mailbox Peak TH @ 7am. Discover Pass required for parking inside the gate. No pass required to park outside the gate.
This is what I call "hiking". :) We'll start up the old Mailbox Peak trail at a brisk pace, aiming to reach the summit in about less than 1.5 hours. We'll admire the views (hopefully) and start down. The trail running will really begin at the junction of the old and new trail. We'll take the nice gentle switchbacks of the new trail back down.
