Alpine Scramble - Tinkham Peak

A leisurely jaunt up and over Tinkham. From Windy Pass, we'll scramble up the fun rock section, traverse the ridge, and head down the gentler side to Mirror Lake, looping back to the PCT and Windy Pass.

Meet at the Preston Park and Ride (I-90, exit 22) ready to depart at 7:30am.  We will need one more driver with a higher clearance vehicle to reach the trailhead.  There is some water damage to the final switchback on the FS road that is best not navigated in a sedan.  

Will be sent out to participants.  We will keep our pace at a conversational one, enjoy each other's company, the fun short rock section and the ridge traverse, hopefully with great views of other peaks and down to Tinkham Tarns.  The last time I was there we even saw 2 mountain goats.
