Again, we are initially looking for 2022 students who still need their first scramble or their first Snow scramble.
Meeting Time: 7:30 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Meeting Place: Alpental Ski Area parking for the Snow Lake trail head. Take Exit 52 (West Summit) from eastbound I-90. Turn left/north after stopping at the bottom of the exit ramp, drive under the freeway, and continue north on the Alpental Road for roughly a mile. Parking on the left, just short of the Snow Lake trail head and a Forest Service restroom.
You can make good use of the clean well-maintained WSDOT restroom facility at Travelers Rest by turning right/south at the bottom of the same exit ramp, continuing east around a curve on the Summit ski area access road (SR 906) past a gas station, restaurant, and in about a quarter of a mile on the left spotting the stone-walled, steep-roofed Travelers Rest facility (which shares the building with the Red Mountain coffee/gift shot).
