We will meet at 7:30 am at the Last Resort in Salmon Le Sac, and depart for the Paddy-Go-Easy Pass trailhead from there aiming to arrive at the trailhead by 8:30 am. There is no pass required at the trailhead.
Paddy-Go-North features a bit of exposure, but with good, grippy rock. Paddy-Go-South has looser rock but with low exposure. After summiting Paddy-Go-North and Paddy-Go-South, we will make a group decision of whether to summit Tucquala Peak as well.
We will take 5-10 minute breaks every hour, with a 20 minute break for lunch. I am hoping to limit breaks to just these stops.
This trip will include some route finding, so please familiarize yourself with the route ahead of time and be ready to participate in group navigation decisions.
There are no water sources on the route past Paddy-Go-Easy pass except for Sprite Lake (which is a bit of a detour) so expect to carry all of your of water for your day (at least 2-3 liters).
If weather forecast is poor we will reschedule for the following weekend or pivot to nearby Malcolm & Johnson Mountains.
This is a mentored scramble for Rose Gear. Please direct all questions to both Rose Gear and Ananth Maniam.
