Leaving a car the night before at Snow Lake Trailhead, we'll dirtbag it at Lake Stewart Trailhead. The goal will be to keep a steady, easy pace in what will surely be a day longer than 12 hours.
The scramble has some steep snow that may be icy. We will need to bring mountaineering boots, ice axes, helmets, and crampons. Trail runners or approach shoes can be worn for the majority of this trip.
We will meet in Leavenworth Friday night for dinner and car shuttle prep.
