Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/v2RZpjT2zzJuKFK18

Please note parking is now at the newer paved Franklin Falls parking lot, and NOT at the old Denny Creek trailhead.

Mentored scramble lead for Chris Pribbernow. A beautiful jagged peak in the Snoqualmie Pass area. We will hike up Denny Creek past Melakwa Lake, continuing up to Melakwa Pass. We will then scramble up the fun White Ledges route, then continue scrambling up a fun rock gully to the summit. We can choose three different ways to get back to the lake: White Ledges, the East Gully, or the standard south route which involves having to go back up a few hundred feet over the southern summit.

There are two creek crossings on the route. I recommend bringing a small towel and water shoes/sandals if you prefer those, too.

We will allow for time to take decent breaks on the summit and at the lake.

This is a great rock scramble for students to get rock credit, but please keep in mind the S4/T4 rating when signing up for this trip.
