How much snow fell during this first week of real precip for the season? Let's go see! After a week of rain/snow the forecast calls for a sunny Saturday and Sunday followed by more rain on Monday, so we'll make use of the sunny weather to go get some awesome views of both big and little T.
We'll travel in a counterclockwise loop, heading up the moderately steep forested east ridge then descending the more gentle west ridge to the Wonderland Trail, which we'll follow out.
USFS Ranger Station, Enumclaw @ 6:30 AM, carpool to Summerland Trailhead
Note that there's ongoing construction on 410 towards Sunrise, however nothing is scheduled to occur on Oct 1. If you look up directions of Google Maps beforehand on one of the closure dates it'll tell you it'll take about 1.5 hours extra to get to the trailhead. To get a more accurate estimate change the "Depart at" to Oct 1.
