Day Hike - Huntoon Point

We'll meet after dinner at the Lodge, drive up to Artist Point, and hike to Huntoon Point. Depending on when we leave, we may be able to catch the sunset as well. At Huntoon Point, we'll find a comfortable place to set up our cameras and sleeping bags and spend time feeling small and appreciating the universe!

Sunset will be approximately 8:14pm and moonrise will be approximately 11:42pm. The galactic center of the Milky Way will appear around 10:19pm.  

This is an easy hike but please make sure that you are comfortable with hiking in the dark.  Headlamps are required.

**TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS HIKE, YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE BAKER LODGE STAY FIRST. BAKER LODGE IS AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS. IF THERE IS LODGE AVAILABILITY, YOU MAY REGISTER AND PAY FOR YOUR STAY AND THEN YOU CAN REGISTER FOR THE HIKE** 

Please note, you MUST register for both Friday and Saturday Night in order to participate. Registration will be limited to 30.
