Community Practice Session - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

Come practice your technical canyoning skills and meet new folks who share your stoke for canyons. Everyone is welcome! Previous training and/or experience is required.

  • Moderate

The Mountaineers is hosting a Canyoning Gear Grab followed by a Community Practice Session on April 15.  The Gear Grab will run from 10am to 12pm, and the Community Practice Session will start immediately afterwards and go from 12PM until 5pm.

This is the page to register if you are interested in attending the practice session. If you'd like to attend the Gear Grab, please register here.

The practice session will be open to the community regardless of where you may have received your training.  This is not a course but an open invitation to train.  The goal is to polish existing skills or learn variances of those techniques.  We will have stations setup to practice different scenarios.  This is also a great way to meet more people in the community who share the same enthusiastic drive to explore canyons.

To participate in the practice session, please sign up on the Mountaineers website and complete the waiver.  There will not be a charge to participate.
