We're very excited to be hosting international mountain guide and acclaimed adventure writer Charlotte Austin again for an evening writing workshop. Whether you're an experienced author, part-time blogger, or curious novice, this class will give you a glimpse into the wide world of travel writing.

Everyone can be a travel writer, but not everyone knows it. With a little practice, your snapshots, postcards, tweets, and scribbled notes can be crafted into a unique story — and in this one-of-a-kind workshop, you'll learn the secrets that travel writers swear by to turn those creative sparks into narrative arcs.

We hosted Charlotte Austin for six of her amazing adventure writing workshops since 2018, and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive — so we're delighted that she's eager to come back!  This is the first of two workshops scheduled for this fall (sign up for the second session here!) covering  different angles of travel/adventure writing, and they're always open to writers of all experience levels. Whether or not you can come to both events, feel free to join us for this one  — we promise there will be new lessons, stories, and inspiration.

You'll learn tricks of the trade, share secrets of the travel writing industry, and discover helpful hacks to craft your individual story. No experience is necessary; just bring an open mind, something to write with (laptop or pen/pencil), and your creative sense of curiosity. Whether you're brand-new to writing, interested in blogging, or want to pursue publication, you'll leave this workshop one step closer to meeting your goals.

You'll be required to have a ticket to get in the door - see the ticket sales options below.  Charlotte's past workshops have often sold out such that there were no tickets available at the door - buy your advance ticket now so that you are sure to have a spot!
