A call for Citizen Scientists - be a part of our regional volunteer effort to detect and eradicate invasive plant species!

  • Wednesday, June 24, 9am-12pm 
  • Center for Urban Horticulture, UW Botanic Gardens, Douglas Research Conservatory, 3501 NE 41st St., Seattle WA 98105
  • Parking is free in the E16 parking lot just outside of the Douglas Research Conservatory.

Group Hike and id training

King County Noxious Weed group hike and invasive weed removal:

  • July 11, Mt Teneriffe
  • Meet at the trail head (the “school bus turnaround”) at 9am. 

Goals for hike:

  • Learn how to use surveying equipment, identify invasive weeds, remove all the invasive weeds we can and have some fun hiking with friendly, like-minded people.
