Redesigning Outdoor Education: Managing Assignments in Google Classroom

A series focused on using online tools to transition outdoor courses to a hybrid model. This session will walk participants through using assignments in Google Classroom.
6 ( 30 capacity)

About this session

Google Classrooms is a wonderful tool that we have seen volunteers use successfully to help students learn at The Mountaineers. One advanced feature of Google Classrooms is assignments. Using assignments helps you track student progress, ensure online work is being completed, and serves as a check to verify your students have learned the material.

This session will walk participants through the use of assignments and how to effectively use them in programming.

This session is intended for course leaders and committee chairs who are working to redesign existing courses - or imagine new courses - during Phase 2 and even Phase 3 of our COVID-19 operations. The first 60 minutes of the session will be majority presentation with some discussion, and the last 30 minutes will be reserved for an optional Q&A. This session will be recorded and available for viewing at a later date.

Registration Required

Please RSVP to attend this session. A Zoom meeting link will be sent to all registrations on the day of the meeting.
