Safety & Prerequisites

To ensure a safe and efficient environment for all participants, knowing how to belay is a requirement. We kindly ask all attendees to review the PBUS (Pull, Brake, Under, Slide) technique prior to the event if a refresher is needed.

Required Gear

  • Helmet
  • Belay device

We look forward to seeing you on the wall!

We invite you to an Open Climb Night designed for Mountaineers members and their guests to connect as a community and climb together. Our primary plan is to climb top rope indoors, but we will keep a close eye on the sky—if the weather is favorable, we will take the session outside to enjoy the fresh air.
