Day Hike - Whistler Train Wreck

Short hike to take photos of seven box cars left over from a train wreck in 1956 and painted with graffiti/art. Later in the evening, take photographs from the Whistler Peak to Peak Gondola.

Meet at the Train Wreck Trail parking lot at 8:30am. 

Directions to parking lot

We will be walking at a slow pace to get to the train wreck (round trip is 2.8 miles). Five of the cars are in one spot with another two a short distance away.

We will spend 2-3 hours at the wreck.

Optional: Lunch in Whistler followed by riding the Peak to Peak Gondola to take photos of scenic views.

Note: I will be camping at Nairn Falls Provincial Park on July 12th. 

If interested, join me on July 14th in Squamish for more photography fun in the morning and/or Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary in the afternoon.
