Peak Society | Leadership Giving
Peak Society is a leadership-level giving circle for members who contribute $1,000 or more annually to The Mountaineers. Their vital annual support strengthens our community by expanding and accelerating our impact. These contributions are an essential part of how we elevate our volunteer-led outdoor education, advance our internationally renowned publications, and unite a powerful voice for public land conservation. Peak Society members receive exclusive benefits, including
- Complimentary membership to The Mountaineers.
- Invitations to exclusive member events and unique occasions to engage with each other and influential leaders in the outdoor recreation and conservation communities.
- Leaders' Insights and e-updates summarizing topical events, news and information.
- Recognition in The Mountaineers annual Impact Report to our community.
- The Peak Society Badge displayed on your My Profile page.
How can I make a qualifying Peak Society gift?
- Make a one-time gift of $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, $7,500, $10,000, or more to The Mountaineers
- Make a multi-payment pledge of $1,000 or more (payable within one year - $84 a month).
- Raise the paddle at the $1,000 or more level at a Mountaineers fundraising event (Note: Event ticket prices, auction purchases and raffle tickets do not qualify towards Peak Society enrollment).
- Submit your volunteer hours for a $1,000 corporate matching gift from your employer to The Mountaineers.
- Make a gift of stock or securities valued at $1,000 or more (email development@mountaineers.org for more information about non-cash donations).
- Renew your Peak Society membership annually (your My Profile page will tell you when it's time to renew).
Your annual gift of $1,000 or more will renew you as a member of the Peak Society.
