We invite outdoor enthusiasts who live on the I90-I405 corridors - both current Mountaineers members and anyone considering becoming a member - to meet fellow lovers of the outdoors and adventure at this fun social event and information session.  Find out about your local branch of the Mountaineers, meet members of our dynamic activity committees from trail running to alpine scrambling to backcountry skiing to snowshoeing to hiking and backpacking, and find out about how to get involved!

We're excited to include a special presentation by volunteers from the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust titled "Community Engagement across the Mountains to Sound Greenway".

"Weaving together the urban and the wild, the Mountains to Sound Greenway connects 1.5 million acres surrounding Interstate 90, including the 15th-largest metropolis in the United States. More than 900,000 acres of land are now publicly owned, from city parks to expansive public forests. At the heart of the Greenway Trust’s mission is the belief that we form stronger and more resilient communities when connected to nature. This presentation will highlight the Greenway's history and the numerous opportunities for members of the community to learn about, explore and steward the Greenway landscape. Extra attention will be given to the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley and our efforts to enhance and improve the recreational infrastructure there including ways that the Mountaineers can plug in and support efforts."  For more information about Mountains to Sound, go to https://mtsgreenway.org/.

Snacks and beverages will be available.
