Northwest Youth Leadership Summit

Hosted by North Cascades Institute, The Mountaineers, Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and Seattle Area National Park Sites, the Northwest Youth Leadership Summit seeks to empower Cascadia’s Future Leaders in Conservation.

The Northwest Youth Leadership Summit will celebrate and inspire diverse youth leaders from our region.  The Summit provides leadership training and workforce development opportunities that equip students to take action to become stewards of their environment and communities.

The event is free to students and includes 18 skill-building breakout sessions, a Student Success Panel, a career and networking fair, mentorship, and outdoor adventures.

150-200 students ages 14-22 who have participated in environmental stewardship and outdoor leadership programs in the Pacific Northwest, and adults from 30+ partner organizations involved in outdoor recreation, natural resource management, environmental education, and promoting equity and inclusion.
