"I didn't know that laughing while birding was possible." So begins naturalist and award-winning author Maria Mudd Ruth’s new book about the humble yet charming (and chatty) Pigeon Guillemot. Maria will discuss how she became obsessed with one seabird, how getting to know one bird leads you to appreciate all of nature, the impacts of community science, and her failed effort to dig a guillemot burrow with a chopstick.
