Hugh Rose is a trained geologist, naturalist, guide, and photographer specializing in landscapes and wildlife of the world’s polar regions. His photographs have appeared in a variety of books and other media, including Alaska Airlines Magazine, Outdoor Life, BBC, National Wildlife Federation, and numerous calendars. He lives in Fairbanks, Alaska.
