Heather Sackett
Heather Sackett grew up New York State's Adirondack Park where she first developed a love for the outdoors. She came west to attend Colorado College and fell in love with the Rocky Mountains. After a decade as a newspaper journalist, she is now a freelance writer in Telluride. Sackett spends her summers hiking, trail running, exploring mining ruins, traversing ridgelines, bagging peaks, and admiring the wildflowers of the San Juan Mountains. Her work has appeared in The Lake Placid News
