The Green River Natural Area is a local gem with well maintained trails into a steep, broad valley along the Green River. This is an "upside down" hike where the 500 feet elevation is lost at the start of the hike and has to be regained at the end. This is a multi-use trail so hikers should expect to encounter horseback riders.
There is limited parking at the trailhead. Carpools will be encouraged and scheduled so that the group can have boots on the trail at 9:30 am. Directions and other trip details will be sent to participants after registration closes on April 8th.
