This is a fun trail - forest mixed with urban aspects. We will follow the outer loop to gain our mileage and gain.
Bring what you need to be comfortable with spring like hiking conditions. The trail can be muddy especially if it has been rainy for a few days. Trekking poles can be helpful.
We will go at an easy pace (1.5 - 2 mph) with plenty of rest breaks as needed.
For safety, we will all hike as a group so please assess beforehand whether this distance/elevation gain/pace will suit you before registering.
My style: I am curious, love to be wowed by Nature and adventurous. As a leader, my style is more relaxed stopping to be in wonder, enjoy the views, enjoy any flowers blooming, keeping an eye out for critters and enjoying how we each respond to the awe presenting itself. I value the journey as much as the destination and strive to foster hiking as a wholistic experience (body, mind and spirit).
We will meet at the Clark's Creek North parking lot near the restroom and tennis courts. Meeting time will be 8:45am be ready to hike at 9:00am
