This is a relatively easy course, and may be one that you can add extra weight for backpack training. The trails are in great shape with frequent maintenance. The trail starts up Green Line with a gradual ascent for the first 4-5 miles. From Greenline there is a short trail connecting Greenline to Wedekind, before the gradual descent down Wedekind.
We will be moving at a relatively good pace (at least 2 mph). This is not a naturalist hike.
More information will be sent in the Hello Hiker.
We will meet at Fall Creek Trailhead in Capitol State Forest at 8 am. There are toilets, and plenty of parking. It's a large lot, so if you feel you aren't in the correct area, you likely need to drive a little farther.
