This one-day field trip will have students learn the fundamentals of multi-pitch climbing and belaying on 5th class rock including anchor setup, hanging belays, and alpine rappels. By the end of the day students will lead and clean at least one class 5 pitch. You must have lead at least a 5.6 pitch or above to pass the field trip.

harness, gelay device, 10 Es, chock pick, cordeletter, 8-12 stoppers of various sizes, overnight car camp gear, leader tie-off, 10 single runners, 10 carabiners, hardware sling, helmet, gloves, 3 double runners, 1 rope per 2 climbers, rock shoes, more protection that suite your fancy.
