Basic Climbing Course - Supplemental Site

Supplemental website including lecture slides, quizzes, course manual sections, field trip prep materials, and more for students of the Tacoma Basic Alpine Climbing Course.

Introduction

This course page will serve as a repository for materials and instructional resources, a portal for quizzes, and other purposes as it develops throughout the year. Please e-mail the web site developer, Benjamin Brown, with questions, comments, or requests for additional functionality. Please note that this is a supplement to, not a replacement of, the course handbook and other required reading.

Mountaineers Gear Trade (public group)

Mountaineers Experticity sign-up details (for some seriously crazy deals on gear, food, etc.)

Find climbs on The Mountaineers website! This link will probably be most relevant to you beginning in late spring. Also, if something says "REQUEST LEADER PERMISSION" don't sign up without requesting leader permission.

This is 2018 update 2 of the gear matrix; the most current version.
