Practice the food planning principles from the Lightweight Food Planning seminar and share some favorite trail breakfasts, lunches and dinners with your fellow students! Spots limited to people who attended the Lightweight Backpack Food Planning and Prep seminar on Apr 9. EVERYONE IS EXPECTED TO CONTRIBUTE APPROX 20-30 BITES OF 1 OR 2 FAVORITES!

Meeting place and time

Meet in Cascade A-B in the Seattle Program Center at 630PM to set up your food samples (the door will be open and tables set up by 6PM if you want to come earlier).   The clinic will begin at 7PM and end at 8:30PM.

Leader's notes

This is an opportunity to  try out and get feedback on your menu plans based on the  tools and concepts  you learned in the seminar,  to get some new backpack food ideas, to share some of your favorite freeze-dried meal brands and your favorite trail-breakfast, lunch and dinner staples, and try many different options from your fellow backpackers!   Each participant is expected to bring 20-30 samples of a favorite breakfast, lunch/snack or dinner/dessert option, ready to put out for sampling, as well as your backpacking bowl and spoon to try everyone's favorites!  More details will be shared shortly.
