We will be recreating on the lands/waters of the Pacific Northwest Indian Tribes , including the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla, Yakama, Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Wasco and Wishram People, who live here and steward these lands and waters as they have since time immemorial. The Seattle Mountaineers Youth Clubs encourage you to recreate mindfully and respectfully on our upcoming trip to these native lands.

CLOTHES: PACK FOR WARM CONDITIONS DURING THE DAY
- Clothes for adventuring during the day (layers)
- Clothes for at camp in the evening (slightly warmer because it’ll cool down in the evening)
- Sun Protection: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, sun shirt, etc.
- Day pack
- Hiking Boots
- Camp Shoes (optional)
CAMPING ITEMS:
- Personal mess kit including: plate/bowl, utensils, cup
- Camp chair
- Tent (can be borrowed from the Mountaineers with advance notice)
- Sleeping bag/pad (can be borrowed from the Mountaineers with advance notice)
- Pillow (we’re car camping; might as well be comfy!)
- Toiletries (restrooms available at campsite)
- Headlamp/flashlight with extra batteries
- Face mask(s)
- Hand Sanitizer
FOOD FOR YOURSELF/FAMILY (OR GROUP MEALS):
- Breakfast: (x3)
- Lunch: (x4)
- Dinner: (x3)
- Snacks: enough for all days
- Water: 2 liters per person per day minimum
