Bailey Gatzert - Climbing - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

Bailey Gatzert Elementary school will bring their 4th and 5th grade to go climbing, learn navigation, and do other activities. . With 94% of students qualifying for free/reduced lunch, the number of children enrolled at Bailey Gatzert who are from families living at or below the poverty level is one of the highest in the Seattle school system (Seattle Public Schools). This partnership is important to providing access to the outdoors and adventure! The goals of this day is to give them an experience climbing that they may not otherwise have access to!

Staff will meet at 8:30 to prepare for students to arrive for a morning of climbing at 9:00!
