Mini Mountaineers

ABOUT MINI MOUNTAINEERS

Mini Mountaineers is designed to get kiddos ages 2-5 and an accompanying adult interacting with nature together, fostering the next generation of environmental stewards. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters, friends...let us do the planning to get you and your little one outside together with fellow outdoorsy families!

Variety of Activities

Mini Mountaineers hosts a variety of activities per month including:

• Educational activity, where we will make crafts, play games, and read stories relating to each nature theme to make learning fun.
• Nature walks in Seattle parks. We will listen for birds, splash in a creek, play in the sand, look for bugs, and enjoy being surrounded by nature! 
• Adventure activities such as climbing night at the Program Center, snowshoe outings, and more!  

REGISTRATION

Enrolling in this course allows you to register for any Mini Mountaineers events, which are free of charge. You must have a Family Membership or Guest Family Membership and complete the Family Programs Activity Form on your youth's profile in order to enroll.

Please register the youth participant(s) and adult chaperone(s) separately.

• December 17: Solstice celebration at the Seattle Program Center
• January 7: Nature walk at Seward Park
• January 21: Rock climbing at the Seattle Program Center
• February 4: Nature walk at Discovery Park
• February 13: Valentine's activity at the Seattle Program Center
• March 17: St. Patty's activity at the Seattle Program Center
• May 21: Tidepooling at Discovery Park
