[MOUNTAIN GOAT + PIKA POD] A multi-day trip Leavenworth where there will be opportunities for hiking and climbing!

We will be camping at Spromberg Meadows Friday and Saturday evening and Eightmile Group Site Sunday to Tuesday.

Clothes

  • Clothes for climbing
    • Clothes for back at camp (slightly warmer because it’ll cool down in the evening)
  • Sun Protection: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, sun shirt, etc.
  • Backpack: Day pack for carrying your personal items/group gear with you as we hike to the rock

Shoes

  • Hiking Boots or Sneakers to wear on the hike to the rock
  • Camp Shoes (optional) 
  • Climbing Shoes (can be borrowed from The Mountaineers) 

Camping items

  • Personal mess kit including: plate/bowl, utensils, cup
  • Camp chair
  • Tent (can be borrowed from the Mountaineers with advance notice)
  • Sleeping bag/pad (can be borrowed from the Mountaineers with advance notice)
  • Pillow (we’re car camping; might as well be comfy!)
  • Toiletries (restrooms available at campsite)
  • Headlamp/flashlight with extra batteries

 Food

    • Breakfast & Dinner: We're doing group breakfasts and dinners Sunday to Tuesday.
    • Lunch: bring one for everyday you'll be on the trip. Be able to pack them in your backpack to eat at the rock
    • Snacks: Enough for 3 full days of activities (more if you're coming earlier)
  • Water: 2 liters per person per day minimum
