Getting to Know Your Camera

It doesn’t matter how you came by your camera or how long you have had it the Seattle Branch Photography Committee is here to help. This will be a fun day, approximately 5 hours, of lecture combined with hands-on work that will help you understand and demystify the use and features of your camera. The course is not specific to one type or brand of camera. Bring your Mirrorless, Digital-SLR, Bridge, Point and Shoot, or phone camera.

The class instructors are members of the Photography Committee. Additional volunteers will be available to answer questions about your camera. Bring your camera, basic lens, two fully charged batteries, memory card, and the owner’s manual.

The Saturday session of the course will start promptly at 9 am and will conclude at approx. 2 pm.  There will be frequent breaks.  Please bring your lunch or snacks as there are no restaurants or fast food places close to the Mountaineers Program Center. Hands-on sessions will be outside, rain or shine. Prepare for muddy, wet conditions and hope for nice weather.
